Mother Berfo's house will be turned into a cultural center

"Berfo Ana" (Mother Berfo), who had been struggling for years to find her son Cemil Kirbayir who was disappeared after being taken into custody on 13 September 1980, died seven months ago (aged 105) in Istanbul.

Her house in the Okçu Village in Ardahan's Göle District will be turned into the Cemil Kirbayir Cultural Center after preperations.

Berfo Ana's youngest child Filiz Dogan, who lives in Okçu Village in Göle, said that they aim to keep her mother and brother's memories alive. (Radikal)
