We build ties and collaborations across NGOs and individuals working in similar fields of peace, transitional justice and human rights in neighboring countries of the Caucasus, Middle East and North Africa.

In order to create a regional cooperation network in the field of historical dialogue and facing the past in the Caucasus, Middle East, and North Africa, we established a Regional Cooperation Network for Historical Dialogue and Facing the Past. As part of this network, which was active between 2013-2018, we created a website to provide information about the activities and members of the network, organized thematic workshops, and held summer schools that included weekly intensive education programs.

With the same purpose, in 2022 we became a member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, which has 350 members in 65 countries and provides support in areas such as grant support, networking, training, transitional justice mechanisms, and advocacy for member NGOs with similar areas of work. We are involved in various education, workshop, and joint project development processes within the coalition's regional network in the Middle East and North Africa.

In the context of deteriorating human rights and shrinking civil space, the Center also carries out international advocacy targeting European Commission, European Union and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe countries, particularly in partnership with the sister organization Verein für Wahrheit, Gerechtigkeit und Gedächtnisarbeit (Hafıza Merkezi Berlin) set up in Berlin in 2018.

Our partnerships are actively ongoing with organizations working in fields close to ours in countries like Argentina, Colombia, Bosnia, Serbia and other Global South countries.
