14 year old youngster’s bones, who disappeared while under custody in Mardin, will be burried with his family

Seyhan Dogan, who disappeared while under custody in Mardin’s Dargeçit District when he was 14 years old in 1995, and who’s bones have been found during excavation works at the Bagözü Village will be burried in Dargeçit with his mother and father who’s bones have been transferred from Istanbul.

Seyhan Dogan was arrested in Mardin’s Dargeçit District on grounds of helping the PKK when he was 14 years old. There have been no news of 7 people, including Seyhan Dogan, out of the 9 people who were arrested back then.

During the excavation works in the district’s Bagözü Village, which were conducted in scope of the investigations regarding unknown killings lead by the Dargeçit Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, some bones have been found and sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Association.

According to Kadir Üründü’s report from Dogan News Agency, some of the bones found during this examination was identified as belonging to Seyhan Dogan. Dogan’s bones were burried at the Dargeçit District graveyard, on the prosecution office’s orders. (t24.com.tr)
