Seyhan Dogan, who’s bones were retreived during the excavation works at the mass grave in Mardin’s Dargeçit District were laid to rest with his family today. Seyhan’s mother Asiye and father Ramazan’s bones were transferred from their graves in Istanbul.
DNA samples taken from the Dogan family and the bones discovered during excavation works held in Bagözü Village in the Dargeçit district (with the order of Diyarbakir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office) on 24 February were cross-checked. Forensic Medicine’s report on 21 July confirmed that the bones belonged to Seyhan Dogan.
