Truth Justice Memory Center (Hafiza Merkezi) published the report Amicus Curiae Report on Enforced Disappearances, which was previously addressed to the Constitutional Court of Turkey as a legal opinion. The report, written in reference to an application made to the court on 12 December 2014 regarding the enforced disappearance of Hasan Gülünay in 1992, presents Hafiza Merkezi‘s general legal assessments that the court should consider in dealing with cases of enforced disappearances. The opinion prepared by Hafiza Merkezi was presented on with the joint signature of European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights, Helsinki Citizens’ Association, Human Rights Association, Human Rights Research Association, Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation, Human Rights Foundation of Turkey. Constitutional Court declared its decision on the case on 21 April 2016.
